why.?

This is a little different from my "sunshine" gallery, isn't it? It's quite... I don't know, just sad.. Is that bad?
But I had this on my mind for a while now and yesterday I had a very creative mood. ^^
It's Snape who tried to rescue Lily when he heard that the Potters have been betrayed - but he came too late. I don't think this was in the book, I just made it up..

Oh, and there is a beautiful german song which has been played in the radio while I painted, and the lyrics fit soo well (I translate them here)
