Yay for some HP art again!!
I can't tell you how much I missed it. But actually I have more and more difficulties with HP art, because nothing feels really original anymore.... There are millions of drawings based on the books/movies and you can hardly see anything new or unexplored.. I still can't and don't want to give up on it... But maybe you understand why my submissions became rather rare.

To the pic itself: I first thought I'd draw all three boys holding a sword but I rejected that idea and after a little thinking I considered the Sorting Hat since beeing owned by Mr. Gryffindor once and Fawkes who brought the sword and hat to Harry in the 2nd book would fit in the pic as well.
Oh, and I had some problems deciding if I should make a blonde (canon) Neville or a dark-haired one (movie) but actually I imagined him ashblonde anway, that would be a nice compromise I really don't like how much influence the movies had on my imagination though


I needed all my painting skills for this...
